The story takes place on a poor dairy farm were the main character D.J. Schwenk lives.
Plot:
Her family lives for football. After she is done training the QB Brian Nelson from Hawley, the rivel school, she desides that she wants to go out to. She is the first girl in her school's hisrory to play as a linebacker. At first all gose well then every thing gose crashing down.First her best freind starts skiping school with her girlfreind, then at practice she seperats her sholder.When she gose to the doctor he tells her to chose between football and basketball. But as if thinds were looking up as they where waching her brother play football and he brock his neck. So D.J. has to go all the way out to seattle to take care of him.
